Applebee's Grill + Bar

Burgers are always good top tier. Last time we came we had a grand old time our server was so nice and she gave us so much attention. Tonight our server, Miguel, made us feel like we were burdening him with our business. We asked for water and basically threw the straws and waters on our table. We could so clearly hear him ask other tables about their meals and if they wanted dessert but for some reason at our table we were just treated as though we were not paying customers.

Atmosphere was loud during 5-6pm. Hard to hear an intimate conversation if you wear a hearing aid.

Shaq, she is one of the best hostess and sevice I come across always polite and meet you requires as you give them. SHE ALWAYS ASKING YOU HOW YOU DOING AND MAKES SURE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WHILE YOU VISIT.. THANK YOU Shaq

I’ve dined in and have had ordered on door dash and every time the food is delicious! This last time i dealt with Miguel on the phone to alter my order not only was the food amazing the customer service was customer servicing!! Way better than a few years ago I’m very pleased!

Visited Applebee’s in Saint Paul yesterday. Atmosphere was good, but my cheeseburger (no bacon) was oily and the bun tasted old, about a 6.5/10. Mozzarella sticks were amazing! Husband’s chicken with shrimp and mashed potatoes was just okay (6/10). We had lemonades—mine blueberry, his watermelon—both extra sweet and about a 6/10. Great appetizer, average mains and drinks.

This is a place my grandchildren like. They order what they like and have not waisted any food. Those wong tong tacos during happy hour are great.

The bartender at the West Saint Paul Applebees is the most phenomenal magician with his mixology of alcoholic beverages, credentials including creating his own Saint Patrick’s day shot the Dakota special “The Bloody Irishman” he never leaves a glass empty especially the brewskies for the boys. This bartender has changed lives and ladies he’s easy on the eyes so stop on buy and buy a round and get ready for the best night of your life. 10 of 10 would recommend Dakota for any event sporting, birthday, or your regular Tuesday tunes into the once in a lifetime opportunity to have this gentleman pour you up a drink. Stop tripping slide though and get to sipping!

I’ve been a long time customer at this location since 2015, great atmosphere and great staff. Shaquonn is a five star employee, you can’t go wrong at this location. Lots of laughs and smiles.

We’ve never had a problem at this WSP Applebees until Tuesday. It took about a half hour for our waitress to take our order. Another wait to get our food. My husband’s cheeseburger meal was very good. I had the 3 fish and potatoes. The edges of potatoes tasted burnt. One of the fish pieces was so burned I couldn’t cut into it.
I told the waitress but said I’d eat the rest.
She never returned for any refills. This was around 4:30.
