I was in the drive thru before 9’pm they shut my side down and a car pulled up in the window and they took their order and wouldn’t take mine even though I was there before the other car.

Every time I come here they ask to take my tray but not to refill my drink. Even when I say I don't need my tray taken, meaning I am still eating, they don't offer a refill.

Highly recommend this location! Staff are very friendly and foods always fresh. Inside area is always very clean and sanitary. They have a little play area for the kids when you dine in . I visit here just about every week and always pleased with my service.

Food is great and staff are always nice. I wish they had a refill station... staff are pretty inconsistent with coming around and asking if you need one. If I'm going to get up to ask may as well just refill it myself (which I don't mind).

This review concerns the unethical employment and payroll practices of the West St. Paul Chick-fil-A.

Last year, the management at this location hired our minor daughter as a first-time employee. She worked for nearly a month without a paycheck, so we tried to address the situation with management and the operator, Simeon, who all made excuses about proper identification documentation and their payroll system. After another week without payment, we went into the restaurant and demanded payment immediately in front of the employees and customers. Embarrassed, management and Simeon wrote our daughter a check on the spot for roughly $180.00, which we immediately took to Chick-fil-A's bank to cash. Unsurprisingly, the bank would not cash the check because there was a problem with it not being a payroll check. When we returned to the restaurant, we demanded payment again, and management, in the presence of Simeon, opened one of the registers and handed our daughter a cash payment, which can be problematic in terms of tax implications.

Fast forward to the present. In early January, our daughter received her W-2 form in the mail from Chick-fil-A. Immediately, we noticed that the taxable earnings amount was incorrect, so we called Simeon to request an amended W-2 with the correct taxable earnings amount. He then reportedly called Chick-fil-A's finance office and informed us that he took care of the issue and an amended W-2 would be sent to us in a couple of weeks. When the amended form did not arrive after a month, we called Chick-fil-A again and left a message for Simeon to call us so we could figure out why the form had not arrived. The following day, on February 21, a manager from the restaurant called and told us Simeon could not call us because he's out of the restaurant, but that she was taking care of the issue. When we asked her why we do not have the amended W-2 after more than a month, she could not give us a concrete answer other than she was taking care of the issue.

At that point, we told her we do not believe management or Simeon actually reported the correct taxable earnings to the Chick-fil-A finance office because they paid our daughter under the table and did not report those earnings to the IRS, which they did not. We then told her they have two days to provide our daughter's amended W-2 with the correct taxable earnings or we would submit detailed complaints against their restaurant to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry and the Minnesota Attorney General's Office, and then we hung up the phone. After the phone call, we submitted a complaint to Chick-fil-A Customer Service in Atlanta, Georgia.

Such behavior by Chick-fil-A is not surprising, considering the company's long history of unethical practices, including paying underage employees with meal vouchers, violating state and federal minimum-wage and overtime regulations, violating child labor laws, and commonly underpaying employees and changing pay rates without advance warning. These are shameful, illegal practices by a company that evidently has no shame. Perhaps the management and operator of the West St. Paul Chick-fil-A will understand when the state investigates, audits, and possibly fines them for their unethical and illegal actions.
