Disappointing; both blizzards I received didn’t taste quite right; both bland. Neither of us wanting to finish our blizzards. One missing the caramel that was in the name (caramel fudge cheesecake), the other (med blizzard) about a 1/3 of the blizzard at the bottom was just ice cream, not mixed, no flavoring, just plain. Not to mention, we only went because we had a coupon that expires end of Feb. The staff pointed out it was for the south st paul dairy queen, which we hadn’t noticed, but upon a quick google discovered the south st paul DQ is temporarily closed; even with that information they wouldn’t honor the coupon. As someone who’s worked in food and retail I find it odd they insisted they couldn’t take it, but if thats the case higher ups in DQ need to change that policy. If you issue a coupon for a specific location & that specific one closes for any reason, the surrounding locations should be able to honor those.

Saved my spare change, then went to DQ for my regular beautiful large pineapple malt, ordered and paid 7-1/2 bucks for my wonderful large pineapple malt, got home to find I had received a small butterfinger blizzard instead. I'm not upset, though... although butterfingers now truly suck, and I was the only customer being waited on at the drive thru window at the moment, and there were like only four employees or so in there, so it's easy to for me see in all that confusion how a slip up like this can occur! Hey DQ... if you're gonna charge 7-1/2 bucks for an f'in malt, I would think the four of you could transport said malt the 8 feet from where you made it to my vehicle window without f'in it up so spectacularly badly!
