I tried the special. I was surprised with a sausage gravy versus peppered country gravy over the chicken fried steak. I was not impressed with the dried out fried corn or no butter for the bread. The red mashed potatoes were good, service was good and nice atmosphere.

Came in needing some food after 65 mi on the bike. I sat at the bar and looked at the menu for a few minutes, decided on my order. The bar maid took the order of two guys who came in after me but ignored me completely. It felt like maybe I was a ghost. After a few more passes with no eye contact or even a “hello”, I pulled chocks and left. I recommend skipping this place.

Great place. Great food and cold beer. I ordered a bloody Mary, which was very good. The bartender/waitress was very pleasant, friendly, and very attentive. It could be a regular stop for us!!
