I've had over half of the flavors of pies that they make here, and every single one has been fantastic! You can tell every pie is made fresh right there in the store! You will never have a piece of pie that tastes like it's been in the rotating pie display case all day, like with what you get when you go to a diner or a truck-stop. Everyone at the pie shoppe is always very friendly and very helpful when it comes to picking out your favorite flavors, or to maybe try something new! If you're ever curious on what flavor to get, I highly recommend the Minnesota Maple, Chocolate Cashew, Caramel Apple Crumb, Vanilla Cream, Sour Cream Raisin, Blubarb, and Strawberry Rhubarb to name a few!

Sadly I drove from PA for the trail and the pie shop - which is now only open on Sat and Sun after labor day. Major disappointment. The trail is great and would do again

It’s the best tasting blueberry pie in Minny! So many to choose from, I guess i have to keep going back. Make sure you pre-order for a whole pie…my mistake!

Home made is thrown around loosely these days, but this is the real deal. Nothing says “support local business” better than a quality made product. Grandma must be hiding in the back.

My husband and 2 other couples and I camped outside of Lanesboro for the weekend and we had to go to the Aroma Pie Shoppe every day !!! The selection is fantastic, the pie is out-wateringly good, and the ambience is sweet! Do yourself a favor and come here to eat PIE!!!!

We live locally and decided to visit the Aroma Pie Shop in Whalen.We had sandwiches, soup and pie.The food was fine and the pie was delicious.The prices are tourist prices, $6.00 for a piece of pie!My piece of rhubarb pie was more like a half piece!I was disappointed with the size of my piece of pie especially for the price!The girls working in the restaurant/pie shop appeared to be high school age so maybe that had something to do with portions. I had to remind her that I also had ordered coffee. No refills on coffee!The inside dining area is small but clean and bright! They also have an outside dining area.
