We had a great server, and the food was good. The bread that comes with the entrée is dangerously delicious! The restaurant is strangely dark, like it's one thing to have mood lighting, but when it's hard to read the menu, you kind of scratch your head.

Not sure we were at the same Gordy’s that others have written about. Lighting was nonexistent…had to use the phone flashlight to see the menu and read the bill. Service was not good. I felt that we were also invisible. Food was okay but I think for the money there are a lot better steak houses….sorry…never going back!

Can’t believe what I’m reading here. Gordys has been the favorite for my husband and I - as well as our friends we take here. While every restaurant has a hiccup every now and then, Gordys has never failed us. Admittedly, it is much more fun when Eve is there, in more than 9 years I can only recall 1 time when our service was less than expected. We have tried just about everything on the menu, but our fave is Ribeye. We’re going there this weekend.

I've never eaten here so my review is based solely on atmosphere. I've purchased many gift cards for my several of my siblings, they love it and always ask for certificates for them. I found it way too dark, I could barely see where I was going to purchase the gift card. I like to see what I'm eating without having to use a flashlight.

We had not been to Gordy in years but decided to give it a try and we were plesently surprised the service by our waitress Eve was the best service I’ve ever recived the food was amazing and the prices were right!! We will for sure be back soon thank you Eve!!
Celebratory dinner. Food was great as many reviews states, I especially liked the French onion soup. Service was top notch. Overall though not sure it was worth the price.

Between us we had a ribeye, steak au poivre, coconut shrimp and what was supposed to be a 14oz aged New York strip done medium rare. The others were good, but the NYStrip was NOT close to 14 Oz and it was divided into 4 sections separated by silverskin that was not even cuttable with a steak knife. To their credit, they did take it back and made another stating that it was an end cut and was full of silverskin. The replacement was better but ony about 1 inch thick at best and still some tough parts. Not what I was expecting from a good steakhouse. Everything else about the evening was great, including atmosphere, desert, and service.

We have frequently been going to Gordy's for years. The place has been steadily declining especially during the past two years. For the price you pay It's very disappointing. Last night was probably the worst meal I have ever had anywhere. We could have spent our $300. elsewhere. (and yes it is too dark, I needed a flashlight to read the menu)
