My family and I have been coming here for my whole life. My great grandma (who is 100 now), loves the potato pancakes and I myself love the club sandwich! My spouse loved the whiskey burger as well! The best part of the place though is hands down the Sunday brunch, it’s affordable and had a ton to choose from! Love the small town feel and how they treat you like a part of their family!

Poor service, very little attention, do not drink any diet soda offerings asked for water and was given a child's size that didn't get refilled until we were almost ready to leave, despite takingour plates did not get a check, so was confusing for the checkout girl, had the brunch which was OK- pie was good

The waitress we had wS short, I had pie , requested it be warm with ice cream, it ca.e cold, I said this cold, she said don't shout at me. Grabbed the pie and it back boiling. Also Sk if they had a dip for the roast beef sandwich, she said we ha e nothing like that. I guess they do not have beef broth.

I’ve had really bad experiences but more often really good experience while eating out here, there’s almost no in between but the better experience happens more often. Staff were always smiling and almost always available despite handling other customers. Although I’ve had a few negative experiences I’ve found out that it’s simply easier when you just avoid breakfast options outside of traditional breakfast time, ya know?

We have been loyal patrons of McMillan’s Family Restaurant for over 30 years and unfortunately the service has changed drastically since the new owners took over. We don’t mind waiting to get seated because we often enjoy visiting with the other people that are also waiting. What we did mind, last Sunday, was the manager forgetting to put our name on the wait list. Then, once we were seated (after 45 minutes) it took an additional 15 minutes before the server took our drink order and then another 20 minutes before she came back and brought our drinks and took our order. It took almost 2 and a half hours to wait, be seated, and get our food. The servers seem stressed, undertrained, and at times, frustrated.

The back room is tight and we watched the servers sit down full trays of food on other people’s tables while they were eating so they could deliver food to waiting customers. There were also customers directing the servers to tables that hadn’t been helped. We didn’t get any waters and we gave up on getting refills on our beverages as we only saw our server three times total (one being to deliver our tab that was not split correctly).

Willmar has very limited places to eat that offer breakfast options. We hope Mcmillan’s can make some adjustments to their service and get back to offering a good dining experience. (Many of the patrons around us were extremely disappointed with the service.) Our family hopes you will be better and do better to serve the many loyal customers that come to dine McMillan’s Family Restaurant.

The food was really good an affordable. The service was very nice great employees, they were checking up and have small conversations with their customers. It’s a very welcoming environment.

Waitresses are new, no follow up after food served, takes a long time to order and receive food and it’s cold when you do get it.

Nothing fancy, good food family restaurant. Love their breakfasts and commercials (beef or turkey). Salad bar is good if you want something lighter.

We have never been to this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were greeted when we arrived and brought to our table. The waitress gave us very small glasses of water. I set my glass of water at the end of the table, but the waitress never refilled it until we mentioned it. When we were about to leave, the waitress brought the vacuum cleaner over. As we were leaving, she thanked us and immediately started vacuuming. It would have been nice if she waited until we left to start vacuuming. It makes it seem that we are an inconvenience, and cleaning up is more important than the customers.
The food is overpriced on the menu. My son only got two chicken strips and side salad for his meal. My chili had no spices to it. I can get better chili at Erbert and Gerbert. Our salads were quite small. We can get bigger and better salads at Applebees. Overall we would not recommend this restaurant because of the expensive and poor quality food. We will not be back.

Food was hardly edible.we had a beef commercial. The beef was mostly fat with what looked like stringy dried bloody stuff mixed in.Coffee was not good.Waitress said it had been made at 1:30 and wouldn't make more as they close at 4:00.(3:15) is when we were there.Salad bar looked unappetizing and unfresh.I do not recommend eating there and had always made a point to stop there. The pies and coffee were so good. Not anymore.

Grew up in Willmar, McMillans being a staple decades ago. Returning decades later, my family ate here for early dinner to treat a visiting family member. Service was somewhat poor, even though the restaurant wasnt busy at 5pm on a Saturday. Food wasn't anything to write home about, but wasn't terrible. But I guess the prices are good for what you get nowadays (I don't often eat out anymore).

Our waitress was so wonderful, I tipped her $20. This was the very first time I've utilized McMillans and I will be back, I've been a cook for 17 years and I loved the staff, service and food. I moved up to western MN from Texas and Mcmillans is the best, so phenomenal. Thank Ya'll for the wonderful service and tasty food.

Parking: At least 30 parking spaces

Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy, as there is no curb you have to get up on, doorway is wide, there are alot of elderly folks that I saw at Mcmillans, family friendly place. Great Ma and Pop environment
