My first time having Somali food. I had Chicken Kay Kay with rice, a Beef Sambusa, and a malawah for dessert. Excellent! I recommend them all, as well as the spicy green sauce they come with. The coffee here needs cream and IMO should not be consumed black. That too was suggested by the helpful host, who made it perfectly.If I lived in Willmar I would eat here every week. I hope to visit again before I leave town and perhaps more in the future whenever I head out this way.
We were very excited to try this place as it has good reviews on google. We went into the restaurant on a Friday evening and every table was dirty. The only employee was on his phone, which disappointed me because there was no other customers and he still didn't do the bare minimum to bus tables. I asked for a menu and was given a dirty menu with six loose pages inside of it. Most of them were doubles and all of them were cheap inkjet printouts you could barely read due to...
