Highly recommend the fish chips.

I stopped in to meet friends for dinner. Plans change but decided to take something to go. Fettuccine Alfredo it was. I opened it at home and found what looked like 1/3 od a serving. With a bread stick. It had NO FLAVOR and the bread stick had been microwaved and was hard as rock...all that for the great price of $15.95. I won't be back!
We loved this place! Everyone had different tastes. My brother got a ribeye that was perfectly prepared, my husband had a chicken sandwich that he loved and my sister-in-law and I split a walleye dinner which was excellent. The service was also good. I would highly recommend it!
This is an amazing golf course. It is clean, greens are fast and when your out on the course you feel peaceful! Highly recommend and to top it off with the Oaks resturant this is a must go for golf lovers!
We reserved a room for a small party of 10 adults for my Mother's birthday. Sabrina was great with the planning. When we got there, they had the room set up nicely, the servers wonderful, the happy hour specials were great, and everyone said their food was wonderful. We weren't golfing but it nice to have the view of the golf course on one side and the lake on the other. We were seated inside but the outside seating looked great, will try that next time we eat there.
We visited this place owned by State Representative Dave Baker, since it has been a while since the last visit, hoping for a great meal. We were greeted promptly and recognized by the server from another now closed restaurant were she worked for a long time. Nice to see her. We chose to sit in the bar side since it generally has more activity. It was not particularly busy for a Saturday evening, some what surprising. The food choices are fine. We did order drinks and my wife's Texas Mule was on of the best parts of the visit. We enjoy the Bacon wrapped jalapenos, a carryover from another restaurant he owned in the past. They were ok, not outstanding, but that often times has to do with the variance in jalapenos. Overall this was a disappointing visit. This place used to be outstanding, this time it was average at best. The server was friendly but not very attentive. Seemed more intent on moving us along than allowing our timeline, did not check on food quality when served. The food was very average, the steak not flavorful and the Beef Sichuan dish was very odd flavored. May not go back for a while. Maybe his interest in legislation has led to him neglecting his other income source.
Our party of 8 was seated at our reservation time, and drink orders were taken. Upon arriving with our cocktails, the waitress told us about the 2 specials available that night; prime rib and salmon. She warned us that we should have a back up order in mind, in case they run out of the specials. So we said, “We will order now.” She seemed to find that amusing, and told us she would return in a few minutes. 10 minutes later she finally returns to take our orders, and 4 out of the 8 in our group order a special. After getting our salads, the server returns to tell us to pick a 2nd choice- all out of the specials. It’s 6:30 on Saturday night, and it isn’t like the place was packed. Over an HOUR later our very mediocre food arrived. We won’t return.
The best place to dine in Willmar for a summer lunch. Enjoy the views from this second floor dining experience. Accommodating staff for lunch meetings that afford privacy with a great view of Willmar's beautiful golf course.
My wife and I were sightseeing between Spicer and Willmar and stopped in for a late lunch. First off, the geographical location is beautiful: lush country, blue lake, tree-lined surroundings, made all the more picturesque on a bright, breezy summer day. We went upstairs to the restaurant and grabbed a table with a great view. The Barkeep/Server, Sarah N, was a blur of efficiency who left no one - including us - unattended. My wife had a Chipotle Turkey Burger and loved it. I had a pan-fried, Walleye Po Boy which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I washed it down with a tap Blue Moon. We both ordered a vegetable side of steamed yellow squash, zucchini, red pepper, and onions. We left sated and satisfied
I dined with my wife this past Friday night. I don't know about the other reviewers but they couldn't of been to this place? The salt in the food was horrible. Pork Mushroom soup at the salad bar was the worst. Way too much salt in everything we had to eat. Overpriced to say the least. Servers were friendly, no fault on their part.

Our family attended the Easter Brunch this morning at The Oaks at Eagle Creek. You can’t believe the assortment of food. The ham and roast beef was the tastiest we have had in a long time, along with the smoked salmon. The eggs Benedict were made to perfection. Dave Baker one of the owners was there to carve the ham making sure everyone got the amount the wanted. Best brunch in town.
I really like the recently renovated bar area. they have a nice selection of beers on tap and the bartenders are very friendly.
