We’ve been coming here for a few years and always enjoyed it. My review is for experience and gluten free options. We brought a friend up to the cities with us who is gluten free. I didn’t realize how hard it would be to find somewhere that had more than one option for her for a treat. I called here to confirm multiple options. SO HELPFUL and so friendly about our dietary restriction. When we got here we were met with the same great assistance from the phone. Thank you Torin! She got a fresh gluten free cupcake and freshly iced it for us. Obviously items still made with other gluten items but wasn’t necessary for our situation.

Ordered a custom cake for my sons 16th birthday. Paid for a 1/4 sheet cake, picked it up and was an 1/8 sheet. Asked to speak to a manager, no manager on site, noone in the store would help.TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!I had to go to another bakery and get a different cake.

My daughter wanted a cake she saw on tik tok for her 13th birthday. I called Dorothy Ann and they took my custom cake order over the phone. I was able to email them pictures and screenshots, then explained how I wanted the cake. The lady that took my order also gave some helpful suggestions and made me feel comfortable enough to where I felt we were on the same page. On pickup day, a young girl brought the cake out, but she didn’t know anything about the cake. I purposely asked for the writing to be on the cardboard because some of the handwriting I saw on their cakes online looked a bit sloppy. Thank goodness I did, because they wrote “happy 17th birthday” instead of “happy 13th birthday”! It was an easy fix. But when I asked the girl to confirm it was a chantilly cake like how I had ordered, she said it was not. She left and came back 10 minutes later to say that it was chantilly cake. She didn’t sound very confident, but I just had to take her word for it because the only way to find out was to cut into the cake. I was nervous all day until we finally sang happy birthday and cut the cake. Thankfully it was chantilly! My daughter loved the cake! She didn’t know about the mistakes during pick up and the anxiety I had all day because of the mistakes, so everything turned out fine. For reference, I ordered a 1/2 sheet custom chantilly cake and paid $89.99.
