Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

Hangry Joe's has consistently been my favorite fried chicken spot in the Twin Cities area the past few years. Today was my first time at this location and my experience was just wonderful. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the food is just amazing. The tenders are my favorite and the medium spice is perfect for me. I tried a peppermint milkshake too and it was SO GOOD! If anyone is looking for great chicken, fries, shakes, or just overall good food definitely check this place out!

I just ordered an hour ago. I had it once before and had a good experience, so my sister wanted to try. I got a jr sandwich combo with cheese she got one without. The texture of her chicken was COMPLETELY different than mines and it grossed both of us out. Mine tasted normal but her chicken was almost rubbery and tuff when chewing, and it was BOTH pieces!! She lost her appetite for anything else and I feel bad. Ended up being more hangry lol, sucks.

Very disappointed in Hangry Joe’s - Woodbury. We frequent the one in Inver Grove, and it is amazing! However, this chicken was disgustingly dry, under seasoned, and cold upon receiving the order. Incredibly disappointed in our experience, and we will just make the drive to Inver Grove the next time we are craving Hangry Joe’s.

Stopped in for dinner after a haircut next door and was pleasantly surprised. My kiddo ordered the soy garlic wings, while I went with the spicy soy garlic tenders. The sauce on the tenders was incredible—just the right amount of heat. Both the wings and tenders were generously sized with plenty of meat, making them really satisfying. On top of that, the staff was warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely excited to come back and explore more of the menu!

Great service great food fun time with the boys Joe’s gets a five out of five stars and don’t get me started on that sauce it was so creamy and that damn chicken it felt homemade with a dash of spice by Joe himself

This place was very good! I got the original chicken sandwich with the medium spice. They make the chicken fresh to order. The sauce was delicious as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you were looking for a delicious chicken sandwich that will get you full.

My wife and I both got a sandwich and boneless wings. Boneless wings were seasoned well. We got the soy garlic which was pretty tasty. The sandwiches were put together well. My wife and I both got medium spice level. I felt like the medium was perfect my wife thought it was a little to Spicey. Dipping sauce is very good.

Yum 😋 chicken with actual flavor and you pick your spice level! Family friendly options as well make it even better. I went and had a weekday special, I highly recommend. I will be back with the kiddos for sure. Welcome to Woodbury Hangry Joe’s.

Great wings! Crispy skin juicy inside. Awesome dry rub great flavor! Blue cheese was perfect! Milk shake was a banger!

Have been wanting to get food from here ever since it has opened.
Finally ordered some take-out this evening. Unfortunately did not have a great experience.
Ordered Waffle fries - ended up getting actual waffles, soaked in syrup.
The bone-in wings were ordered with wet hottest sauce but looked like they used the mildest of their sauce. The wings were soggy and not fried well enough.

All in all it was not a great experience.

However I'll attribute it to one of those days....maybe because we ordered 35 mins before closing time..... and will give them another try soon.

My first experience with Hangry Joes was at the Inver Grove Heights location. Love the food. So happy they opened a location in Woodbury. I love the chicken. Cooked just right. Always juicy! Customer service has been nothing but friendly. If you haven’t tried it, just go once, the food will keep you coming back.
