We stopped in for a quick slice and had a pleasant experience. The wife had a cheese 🧀 slice, and I had a sausage slice. Both were very tasty with a flavorful underlying sauce. We split a side Italian salad for some greens. We sat in a nice dark wood themed booth. We also had good customer service. Overall, this place will be on our radar in the future.
It's very difficult to not love Savoy Pizza. There is a legacy and legend for the best pizza in St Paul, ever. I still know the phone number of the long gone 7th street location. The food approaches the original, and our server was excellent. It isn't the perfect pizza the 7th Street had, but always really good.
We came in just before closing time and they still made us a pie to go. It was a large supreme and it tasted fantastic. Great service and always friendly. Love this place and it's pies.
