Rocco's Pizza-Woodbury

Some girl has been answering the phone today and she needs to learn customer service. She was super rude and can’t talk to customers at all. I also placed the order for a later time and they started it right after I called when I wanted it 45 minutes later. Not a good day for Rocco’s Woodbury. Their pizza is usually always good, but it has never been the same. Their sauce is great though!

Another note: I repeated my order twice and she got it wrong! They forgot our pizza fry even after repeating it twice and her repeating it back to me. Not happy about our experience today at all.

Actually not an eat in pizza place but they are really dialed in for carryout! Easy to order online and hot and ready for pick up every time. Great pizza and great service.

Since you insist on spamming my email with coupons now, I thought I’d return the favor and let people know that when I had your pizza the sauce was bland and the crust tastes like soap. I don’t recommend it.

I've been ordering from Rocco's for years, but have slacked off a bit the last few years just to eat a bit healthier.
I splurged and ordered on line, got my favorite pizza, pepperoni and canadian bacon and some chicken strips. Their website wouldn't let me use the on line discount code, could have saved me around $4...charged a delivery fee, and then the driver asked for a 15% tip. Hmmmm?

Never have I been disappointed with the food from them until now.
The pizza, came on time, but was cold. It almost tasted like they 'dumbed down" the sauce a bit on it too...not as zesty as I remember.

The boneless chicken strips, processed chicken(?), not real filets cut from breasts, also were cold, thin and dried out. I should have stuck with the real, bone in wings, but the last ones I had were mostly skin and fat. Won't be getting wings any longer if I do try Rocco's again. And if I do, I'll order by phone and pick it up myself.

I am a transplant from Chicago for over ten years and I have lived in several different parts of the city which allowed me to have tried so many different pizza places. There are some decent spots until I discovered Rocco's. Most people in Chicago eat thin or a medium crust. Yes deep dish pizza is eaten too but not as the go too. Rocco's thin crust is best pizza that I have had and definably a true Chicago pizza. I believe its the sauce which brings me back to my roots. Please try it and you wont be disappointed. Rocco's is outstanding. 2 last notes. I did not rate atmosphere because it is take out place. Last they list a Chicago style pizza which sounds very different. I was told it has the sauce on top of cheese. So it must be deep dish but the menu has both listed on the menu. So I do not want to confuse anyone. I am highly recommending just the standard thin crust which really tastes like how a Chicago pizza should be. Yummy!!!! It's a solid TEN.
