Went to The Tap for lunch while visiting town. Basic small town bar look on the outside. Not too exciting on the inside. It's a local bar with local bar feel. The service was ok. Didn't seem overly excited that there were outside of the normal folks there, but we were greeted and served. The food was basic. Fried gizzards were ok as were the mozzarella sticks. Seemed like the oil needed to be changed. Nothing special about the nachos. The Tap Patty Melt was bland. The bread had a bit of an off taste from the griddle. Overall, it was food and wasn't completely horrible, just not great.

I've never been to a bar before that didn't offer any drink specials, ever. this is the first such place. whoever runs this joint clearly does not care whatsoever about helping the community get drunk. reader, have you ever been to a bar that didn't offer any drink specials through the week? I think the guy who runs this joint needs to find a more suitable career. he's like the last guy you would ever want to run a bar. this town needs another bar for sure

My son and I went there to eat. The absolute worst service I gave ever had going out to eat. Don't know who the waitress/bartender was but wow. She was rude, short and made it seem like we were inconvenienced her by coming it to give them business. If I go back and see she is working we will turn around and leave. I can't express enough how poor this service was

As Green Bay Packer fans traveling through the state, we stopped here to catch the Packer game. Priorities ?. This bar was clearly a Vikings bar but they were very accommodating with sharing their place with a rival. The bar tender was amazing, had some good stories, and the food was good too. Would definitely recommend this off the beaten path bar and grill.

A hometown Bar with Really good burgers, tastey fries and efficient service on a quiet Tuesday mid- afternoon. 1 person was the Bartender, waitstaff and cook. She did well. More staff arrived later in afternoon. This place is a hometown favorite.

I went on a show night (Monday), so my review might be a bit skewed, but I had a lot of fun. What crowd was there was entertaining, the bartender was friendly, the touch tunes were playing and the pool tables were... tabling.I had a good time as a visitor from out of town.

Fries were delicious, steak sandwich was mediocre. Friendly employees, nice small-town bar atmosphere. Would definitely go there again! Many items on the menu that I would love to try.
Stopped here for lunch Friday, July 7th. Service was prompt & pleasant. Food was very good. Fries were hot & crispy, burger was flavorful & juicy. We were in and out in 45 minutes. Great local place. We would eat here again!

It's a bar. Definitely not fancy. We ordered the combo appetizers and they arrived very hot, but once they cooled they were tasty. My wife got the Minnesota Burger and I got the Cheese Burger. The cheese burger was just a burger, cheese and the bun with a couple pickle slices on the side, and that's it, but it was good, and the bun was very high quality.
