We haven’t been there for a few years, waitress was very good food was again very dry. We had the big platter just not moist perhaps it was yesterday’s meat. Cook and foil in smaller batches perhaps? More mopping to add flavor and moisture…beans were good, cornbread cold and hard as was the white bun. Perhaps warm them up serve with butter and honey. Potions were good but just couldn’t eat it. Not cheap lunch to just throw away.

This was great Minnesota BBQ. Swung in here on our way down to MSP for a show. My significant other and I split the platter and it was enough food for a snack the next say too! Service, food, and atmosphere was great. Really good beer selection as well. We will be back.

We went there around 5:45, so pre dinner rush. There was no wait for a seat which was awesome. With the parking lot being full I was expecting a wait. We were a party of 4 adults, 2 toddlers and an infant. We were on an elevated dining area. There was 4 tables in this area and each had a different server. Our server took our order and we didn't see her again until the end of our meal. She was spread with a whole row of tables and we were the only one in this elevated area. We never got refills until we were paying, parts of our order forgotten and no way to rectify it. Service was awful, although everyone was nice. Two of us got a mack and cheese and the sauce was grainy and bland. The pulled pork was good the buffalo chicken was hard. The seasoning they put on everything on the pulled chicken platter was salty, the mean was better without it. Half the food was OK, and half was awful. I don't know how they have such a high rating. The only reason I gave two stars was because everyone who wasn't our server was nice.its also super loud, everyone's voice caries and they are all talking over the noise.
