We keep giving this place chances because it's close and convenient but the burgers are always burned and everything is incredibly salty to the point where the fries hurt my mouth. The staff has always been kind and attentive, I won't fault them on the food. We will probably try the breakfast sometime.

Was here the weekend of October 4th my step dad had to pay for a fricken soda when they were so backed up on the order that part of ours sat on a window ledge and the rest was no where close to done. We all love Ridgewood but that drink should of been a token of apology not more money and potential tips

I wanted to like this place for the hole-in-the-wall lakeside vibe. That’s about the only thing it has going for it though. The food took an hour to come out and they only gave us an ETA after 30 minutes had passed. This was after calling ahead for our group of 12 and they said there’s plenty of room for us; no mention of a possibly long wait. I don’t think the server apologized or acknowledged our frustration at all. An apology and getting ahead of the situation goes a long way vs pretending it doesn’t exist. Just super disappointing :(

Ordered a burger, took probably 39 minutes. It was warm and dry. Did not finish it as it was to much work to chew. Pretty well done.

After 2 hours from when we ordered our food, we walked inside to the food window to see if our food was sitting there (we were expecting the inside to be packed with how slow the outdoor service was… there were only 2 people inside eating). A different waitress approached us and asked why we were looking at the food in the window. We explained to her the outdoor waitress wasn’t acknowledging us until a few regulars help us get her attention for drinks earlier, so assumed we’d have to get help getting our food as well. Within 2 minutes walking up to the food window, we received our food (cold). All 3 waitresses had attitudes whenever ordering drinks or food. If you’re looking for a place for drinks & atmosphere this is your place. If you’re looking for service or food, go elsewhere. Never again. Highly suggest the owners in either hiring more people if the staff are going to take their frustrations out on customers, or hire new staff. The locals there said it’s a known issue & they’ve just come to expect it when going there??? That’s wild…

Nice location on the lake. Would have enjoyed my visit more if wasn't for the big dogs there. The owner's dogs are free to roam behind the bar and inside the restaurant as well as on the patio. The employees seem use to it and work around them. There was a bartender shift change (around 4:30), and the young gal that came behind the bar petted the big spotted dog and then proceeded to make a drink with a lime on the rim. She literally used the same hand she'd just petted the dog with then got a lime out of the container to put on a customer's drink. After seeing that, I decided I was no longer hungry, finished my beer and left. I don't think dogs should be roaming around where food is being served. If one pets an animal, for gosh sake, please wash your hands afterwards; especially if you're serving people in the public!
