Let's start with the good. Pecan pie awesome. Service extremely slow waited 45 mins for a salad and pulled pork sandwich then the soup was cold.Excuse was understaffed with everything going on. Yep Fall Festival that hardly had anyone at and with no food vendors there. Disappointed as this was my go to place when I worked in Bates County. Definitely not worth the 1.5 hr drive again. Worse part offered a refund but they never followed up on it. Very disappointing. Received a follow up from the owner indicating they were at the fall festival. However never made an attempt to make it right so my assessment shall remain the same.

We were supposed to have a reserved table for a ladies church luncheon and when we got there we didn't have a reserved table as promised. So our group had to sit separated. Don't promise reservation if you can't do it.

There’s nothing quite like your hometown, coffee, ice cream and sandwich shop! Every time we step into birds, we are greeted with friendly staff, food and the shopping experience is fun as well! Everything is cooked to order and I love that the owner is sensitive to allergies and food restrictions! We never have to worry about what we’re getting here. I sure am grateful for this little gym in our great city, where everybody knows your name!
