This little place is a gem. I have eaten a lot of Mexican food, here and in Mexico and you cannot go wrong at El Mexicano in Advance, Mo. We drive a long ways to eat here and it’s worth every mile

We’ve been eating here for years. Before we ate here I told my husband I didn’t think I liked Mexican food. Armando and Monica sure changed my mind. The first thing I tried was a ground beef chimichanga and it was fantastic. It was the only thing I would try for a long time. We won’t eat Mexican locally anywhere but here. They are always friendly, even when we see them out somewhere in Cape or Sikeston. They seem more like family than just people who own the restaurant. Clean, great food and wonderful people!

I love eating at El Mexicano. Mandin, Armando and Monica his mom and dad are awesome. So friendly! They treat us like family, always asking about Brylee, my granddaughter who worked for them years ago. We have seen them out in Cape and Sikeston, and one day at the Chinese restaurant they bought our food when the left! We love them. The food is consistently delicious. The restaurant is clean.

This is the second time that I’ve been here thought I’d try it again. This is the last time that I will ever eat there. Long story short couldn’t understand the staff the bathroom had a purple light which you could not hardly see at all and the food after you ate it, which it wasn’t the best it was all righthad a puddle of grease under it
