The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is also very good but you may not like smelling the cigarette smoke while you're eating. The waitress keeps stepping out for smoking and comes in exhaling smoke and wreaking. This takes away from the otherwise enjoyable experience.if you don't mind strong cigarette smoking smells while your eating, this is a place you will be happy with.

My Wife and I occasionally drop in for gyros, salads and coffee and I’ll say this is by far our favorite diner in the saint louis area.The food is always great,The price is very affordable especially in today’s economy,The servers are always very courteous,And the Chef is a delight to see, and occasionally greets/checks in on his customers personally.Amazingly this place is never overly packed either.If you’ve never enjoyed breakfast at the Affton Diner, i highly recommend giving them the well deserved visit.

Visiting from out of state. I like to frequent small establishments. Started out great, I was greeted and given water. The waitress brought my food with eggs so hard they looked melted on the plate. I nicely asked her to take them back cause I ordered over easy. She actually came back and said "Theese eggs are not over done"I said yes they are. Another waitress had to confirm the eggs were wrongI sorta lost my appetite after this. The food came back cooked correctly but I had a hard time finishing being there with such a rude server.I won't be coming back next time I'm in st. Louis
