Sushi Hana was such a pleasant surprise. The first thing I noticed was how healthy and well-taken-care-of all the plants were, it gives the whole place a really fresh, calming vibe. The restaurant itself is pretty standard in layout, but the décor is super cool and adds a lot of personality.
The food is affordable and tastes incredibly fresh. The veggies were fresh fresh, and the fish was just as impressive. Presentation was definitely A+, every dish looked beautiful. Our server was extremely nice and took great care of us the entire time, which made the experience even better.
One small note: the parking situation can be a bit annoying since you park facing against the street. I’m not sure how busy that street gets during the day, but it could be a hassle depending on the time.
Overall, though, this has been the best sushi experience I’ve had in STL. Highly recommend!

The food is quite delicious and the pricing is reasonable. The service is great as is the ambience. The only thing I have to say negative is the parking's not the greatest but that won't stop me from continuing to go.

This place is so unassuming and I’ve driven by it many times. A friend suggested we go here after being told it was good, so we gave it a shot. I’ve been to all of the well-known sushi places here, but somehow this one skipped my mind for too long.
First, it is very cute inside. They really went out of their way with the decor to make it feel kind of like popped out of Japan, but it doesn’t feel cheesy. It is fairly small inside and you have to deal with the parking off of Gravois, but we didn’t have trouble finding a seat or anything.
The servers are very nice and extremely knowledgeable. I believe the man who was helping us was named Justin (I apologize, it’s been a bit) and you could just tell how excited he was about all of it. He recommended a few things, but I did specifically want to talk about the salmon skin roll.
He talked a bit about how they handled that differently than many places and if you ever had that anywhere else, you will know that he’s telling the truth. It’s exceptional here, almost like an entire entirely different food than anywhere else I’ve had in this city.
Everything else we had was wonderful. The prices I would say are pretty middle of the road when it comes to sushi, which is honestly a compliment for the quality.
Definitely check the place out.

Great service and great food. I’ve driven by this place 1 million times and it’s so unassuming, but the inside is very cute and the menu is great.
Effortlessly great service from Justin who kept an eye on our needs and handled them with grace, clearing off the table quickly, accommodating seat changes, and graciously letting me know that the uni was sold out (noooooo!!!). he made great recommendations and always knew what he was talking about, often teaching us all something new, from those who never had sushi before to the more experienced on sushi and Japanese food. The space was well decorated, the menu was accommodating for sushi-heads and not, and of course the sushi was delicious, all the nigiri I had was great and even though I'm not normally a roll-head I enjoyed finishing off my fiancee's futomaki picnic roll.

Service was great and friendly. Food was okay but pricey. Salad needed more flavor. Fish in rolls for price was there but not like other places where they pack in more.

The sushi is very well done, I had one with white tuna. It was one of the best rolls I've ever tasted. Their hot green tea is great and bottomless.

Great, fresh, delicious sushi - without the NIGHT CLUB VIBE of other places. Very friendly staff. It is our 'go to' for sushi. LOVE IT. We always start with seaweed salad and edemame. Our fav roll is the Rainbiw Roll, but we usually pig out and get 4 rolls for 2 of us cause we also love the Spider Roll, the California, and the White Tiger. Yum
