Service was ok. She took our drink order and then delivered a couple drinks and left the rest on the counter. We sat there (only ones in the restaurant) for a bit and then got up and got them ourselves. I had a ground beef chimi, the ground beef was so salty, it burned my throat. Wasn't a pleasant meal. The menu described the sopapillas as a fluffy pastry deep fried. I ordered 4. Nope. Got a flat deep fried tortilla shell with ice cream and candy beads on it.
Biggest downside, no alcohol!

Place has gone down hill, very expensive for the quality of food you receive, empty at all times, and employees that are barely present, if you want a hurt tummy and wallet come here you will feel at home

I’m completely in love with this spot! The food is bursting with flavor and always so fresh—it’s easily the best I’ve had in the area. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Whether it’s tacos, enchiladas, or just chips and salsa, everything here is perfection. I can’t recommend it enough!

Best place ever for real Mexican food. This place is the only restaurant I can eat at with Alpha Gal Sydrome and NOT GET deathly sick. It's great having them here. I ordered grilled chicken soft Taco, grilled onions, refried beans and spanish rice every time and excellent taste . The place is very clean and organized. This is my go to place for lunch or dinner.
Dietary restrictions: I have Alpha Gal Sydrome and cannot have red meat or dairy, Other things that will make me very sick are fumes from red meat or dairy. This place I trust and I have never had an allergic reaction nor an anaphylactic episode. Can't thank Jason's enough for being here in Alton Missouri.

We were there on a Saturday night. The food was not very good and it was greasy. They DO NOT serve alcohol which for a Mexican restaurant is unheard of.

Absolutely loved the food here. We had the "Dinner" and it was a lot of food. We were so stuffed. Super reasonable at under $14. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Alton.

We love this restaurant! Very Thankful to have a nice place to eat in Alton!
we have ordered multiple times and there is usually something slightly wrong. No big deal! We all make mistakes. Today we had one of our orders that was incorrect. ai said no big deal we will just call them and get it fixed. Very rude to my wife on the phone. I don't take kindly to that. So we will have to stop ordering I'm afraid.

Been here several times with family, most recently yesterday. Never been disappointed, food is always great and staff very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a must stop if you’re in the area! Yesterday we ordered some tacos, and I asked if they could make fish tacos (they don’t have them on the menu) because I usually get the Tilapia Especial with some additions/subtractions, and I was very impressed with them, they were amazing + the staff even included some tomatillo and pico de gallo (their tomatillo is AWESOME, just be aware if you’re sensitive to spice it has a kick). Salsa is also spicy and always delicious!!
