Rustic Duck Restaurant

Highly recommend Rustic Duck! Jamie and her crew are amazing. She cooked my rehearsal dinner for my wedding and it was outstanding 10/10. We received so many comments on how good it was. Her mom Susan and her are GREAT with my kids as well.

The food and experience was awesome! The special was cashew chicken and it was the best cashew chicken I’ve had. Keep up the great work!

Actually the food is quite good! Fresh! Honest! Okay it’s a slightly limited menu, but great for the area! The staff and owner are gracious and the place itself is a delightful fun experience. There is also a nice venue for those large parties and weddings. The place is overlooking a lovely lake with a walk about bridge and natural surroundings. Take in the art, or wander the gift shop! Sip wine or a cocktail by the bar, or sit on the patio overlooking the lake. Just want a sandwich or ice cream with the kids? Because the restaurant has two sides with deck access, families can be happy and have fun too!

What a quaint little place. Tucked away in the corn field of Rural Missouri. The food was so beyond expectations. One slight mixup and hat they took care of perfectly. Beautiful venue and views. 5 stars plus.

We love everything about the Rustic Duck except we wish it was closer to home. In reality the location is only one of the special things about this hidden gem. It's a restaurant in the middle of wild life art gallery. Delicious food and great service.
The burger and brisket grilled cheese were both soooo tasty! If you're even kinda close to Appleton City you owe it to yourself to make a stop and check out the charm and delicious food at the Rustic Duck.

Oh my gosh, this is a hidden gem! Loved the steamed shrimp and the fish. Brought home enough for lunch the next day. Definitely had to have the maple pecan ice cream. Worth the drive!

We are regulars at the Rustic Duck and we absolutely love it. The special menu served for Valentine’s Day and Italian wine night was exceptional. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people too, which is always a bonus. :)

Cute place. I ate a salad. The workers were very nice & friendly.
