Charming and delicious in a historic building! The food is homemade and fantastic, especially recommend the tenderloin, French dip, and make sure to try the hand dipped onion rings. All for extremely reasonable prices!

We had our wedding and reception at Arcadia Academy 4/13/2024. From the initial tour to the final check out, our experience was beyond perfect. At the first tour we were immediately impressed by the history and aesthetics of the venue. It’s a beautiful space. Working with Chrystal was fantastic. She and the entire Arcadia Academy team were so welcoming, responsive, and accommodating. We really loved having on site options for our guests and family to stay. The Priest House and Laundry House provided the perfect places for us to stay and be with our guests and prepare for the wedding. We can’t imagine a more perfect place to have our wedding and are so pleased with the entire experience.

We arrived for a late dinner 30 minutes before closing. Delicious food and beer, very friendly service. We enjoyed chatting with the owner and wished we'd had more time to check the place out. It looks like an excellent event venue in addition to food and drink! Would definitely be back if we're in the area again.

We had their brunch buffet on Easter Sunday, and it was very good. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, French toast, biscuits and gravy, a fruit buffet, and a pastries buffet. I recommend it to everyone. We will be eating there again. I must also say the service was very good also!

On February 8th through 11th 2024 we we're able to spend our nights and meals at the Arcadia Academy/ Thee Abby and then a surprise 80th birthday for our Uncle Dale. The room we stayed in, the grounds and the restaurant were great, but even better was the owner Matt and his family who took customer service to another level. The personalized attention they provided set the bar very high. We know where we'll stay on our return to Missouri. God bless Arcadia Academy and all they do. Respectfully, Kurt and Paula, Falcon Colorado.

Super cool place and very highly recommend. Great food, unique rooms, historical property, and very friendly host (Matt). Close to nearby trails for some pretty hikes. Catch a tour or murder mystery dinner if you can, both are highly entertaining.Food & drinks: The homemade dinner rolls and cinnamon rolls are phenomenalNoteworthy details: Very unique property. Quaint and secluded, perfect for a weekend getaway.

Extremely friendly owners & I don't know what they did to my waffle cone but it was extra amazing!! They have an antique store too!! Super cute place! I can't wait to go back and try the rest of their food!
An absolute gem!If you're looking for a slice of life, this is it.I met Mrs. Darla Buechner (German, pronounced [beach-ner]) today as my kids polished off a chocolate ice cream and I was privy to a quick tour of the sñrawling and beautiful Restaurant/Ice Cream Shop/Bed and Breakfast/Wedding venue. The fried pickles were some of the best I've ever had but we're definitely going back next time we hike though Elephant Rocks as I missed the famous connamon rolls but the Buffalo Chicken salad and the Philly sandwich were great. The new owners (Buechners) are working hard to bring as much life as possible into the historic sote and they're definitely off to a good start. Service and food were great but seeing Mr Buechner blow a kiss to his wife from the riding lawnmower reminded how precious good people are. Stop in if you're passing by or better yet make it a destination. You won't regret it.
