Ever since I was a kid, there were two (2) root beer places I loved to eat at: Stewart's and A&W!I came across this place and was so happy to find it. I got my burger and fries, and that frosty mug taste of A&W Root Beer that I've loved for ages.The food was not what I remembered, but that root beer? Still amazing out of the tap!Now, in The Lou, there is Fitz's, which is outstanding, but I'll be honest and say A&W is hard to beat!

Food isn't like it used to be at a&wA little bit pricey for their burger I guess they figure they're a five-star restaurant but nonetheless it's pretty good inside a lot of classic memories..

The cashier did not ring up the discount for the daily special. I ended up catching it as we sat down to eat. Management did go back and reimburse but it was a bit of a pain.

So, I have to admit that I'm a bit biased because I have fond childhood memories of A&W Rootbeer with my mom. That said, for fast food, I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Food is always tasty, the place is always clean, and the employees are always nice. They are always doing something behind the counter, even if it's slow. I got the corn dog bites the other night, and they were perfect. The people who work there act as though they like their jobs and the food isn't made with apathy and hate.

DO NOT GO HERE,the chicken is left out for more then 45 min at a time,the burgers are left in the trays for hours at a time,and hot dogs will be black and they will still send them out,they won't filter the fryers for days and will only change the oil after 2 days of

Always fantastic fresh food. Claire at the drive thru is super sweet and polite. Never a problem and probably one of the best hamburgers I live had.
Food was prepared poorly. Missing an entire meal. Staff seemed completely lost.

1st time and last time. The drive through wait time was a bit long for being the only car in line. When I received my burger, it looked like it had been thrown together with a gallon of mayo (see picture) and the bun was smashed in two pieces. Terrible food service.
