My 85 year old mother wanted fried chicken, a hot meal which she rarely gets. The chicken was fried yesterday, she called and they said so, the potatoes and gravy were also old. This meal was 20.00 and went into the trash. Made me very sad that her meal was terrible and a waste of money.

We were passing through Arnold Missouri and Googled restaurants there. Dave's Diner look like someplace different and privately owned. Not a chain. It is an old-school Diner. Looking original to the 1950s. The staff was wonderful the waitress was very attentive and pleasant and the food was great. Nothing fancy just down home cooking. My husband had the fried chicken and I had a double cheeseburger and fries. My only regret is that I was too full to try any of the pie! Will definitely go back again. And they are open 24/7!

The food is amazing and fresh. Very small town feel to it. The chicken fried steak was so tender I could cut it with a knife and the gravy had so much flavor. My husband had breakfast for dinner and loved it. The biscuit on the sausage biscuit was homemade. Definitely glad we stopped in.
