I have been a regular customer since Las Fuentes opened in Arnold. I'm not sure if there has been a change of ownership or not, but there is a measurable difference in both quality and atmosphere. I will not be going back after the past couple experiences. There is a manager I assume who stands on the dining floor like a prison guard giving the waitresses hand gesture instructions as they try to wait o tables. It's very uncomfortable, and they rush you to order and get out.
The first few years they were opened, it was a totally different place. Jorge and Jesus were always out on the floor, but not like prison guards. They were building relationships with customers, earning repeat business, which is how a business grows. Word of mouth is a powerful tool. They were the reason I became a regular. I never felt like I did tonight, mad enough to write this review.
I hope whoever is in charge takes this to heart, as I know I cannot be the only one who has noticed this negative change..

We had fish tacos & the fish bites appetizer. The fish was amazingly good. The rice & beans were mediocre. They were already cold when they came to the table. The chips were some of the worst I've eaten. They were thick, h & hard. The salsa was pretty unimpressive.The service was good, but not outstanding. I would recommend finding another Mexican restaurant.

I decided to try Las Fuentes in Arnold after having poor service experiences at other Mexican restaurants around the area. I am so glad I tried this place! The service was the best I've had in a long time at a restaurant. The waitress was quick with salsa refills where I didn't even have to ask, she saw I was running low and offered, which was great! She also checked back a few times, which is always appreciated in case I needed something. I ordered a lunch to go as well and she was on it and had the order ready when I was finished and ready to pay the bill. I was just so impressed by the great service and will definitely be back.The food was also fantastic! The chicken was tender in the Polo Casa and the cheese was plentiful. For the cost of the entrée, I also felt I got a good amount of food, which isn't the case nowadays at some restaurants. It was nice to have great service and great food!
