Went out to eat there for Father's day and enjoyed a good meal. The filet mignon was tasty and tender. The chef was funny but looked tired after a long day. My only problem with the restaurant was the service. The waitress brought our soup and salad out and returned 5 minutes later asking if we were done. I thought this might be a one off but she continued to do the same after our main course was served. It seemed she wanted us in and out in record time.

We love this place. My sons devour the pork katsu every time. Highly recommend!

This was our third experience at Myabi. The first was for sushi. Wonderful experience. Brought us back for Christmas Eve hibachi - delightful. Today, we came for sushi and it was a complete different experience that will likely leave a sour taste in our mouth. We were seated in a back “quiet” room with four tables. Drink order taken. Then seemingly forgotten. More than 20 minutes passed. The other three tables filled and the server took everyone’s order. Everyone is served except us. One plate finally comes but not the second until we asked abt it 10 minutes later. No apologies. We had to ask for the bill when everyone else in the room had checked out and left. Our server ghosted us after taking our order and a second server stepped in, sort of.
The food was only so-so - perhaps from the experience, but it seemed less flavorful than in the past. I hope this was just a bad night, but I’m not sure we will be back to find out.

This is the best sushi restaurant I've found in this area. We go often. The kimi roll and volcano roll are my favorites. Lychee martini is great, my husband preferred hot sake. Great food, great service.

I love miyabis food and have ordered takeout several times without incident, but recently sat in for the first time and it was probably one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We came for an early dinner on new years eve, we sat down at about 5:20, and we didn't leave until nearly about 8. Our sushi, soup, and salad arrived after about 35 min, but our hot entrees and appetizers didn't arrive until about 7:30, and one of the entrees was the entirely wrong dish so had to wait another 20 min. All the tables around us waited just as long, nobody sat down or left during the time we were there. Never once did management come and explain to everybody what the problem was or give any time frame, apology, comp or discount on the check. You get better service at Fuji sushi in imperial and they literally only have 2 people that work the restaurant.

Best sushi we have ever had! Ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted amazing. My husband and I had the Sushi lunch special and we each got three rolls of sushi that we chose for about $13 each including soup/salad and a drink. The salad had the most amazing creamy ginger dressing! The sushi rolls were excellent!

Food was amazing but the experience was kinda odd. We had a reservation for 6 but didn't get seated until almost 7, and didn't even get a Hibachi. They were busy, so it was understandable, but still kinda a bummer. Will definitely try again, though!

I have come back to Miyabi on a couple of different occasions hoping things would be better. I just ordered my last takeout from here and will not be back! It is worth it to me to drive another 10 or 15 minutes for quality Asian inspired food to spend my hard earned money on. Going out to eat is a treat for me so I expect greatness.
Every time I’ve come and ordered dishes with chicken, the chicken is precooked, diced white meat and dried out, not freshly sautéed and cooked tender. That alone ruins the meal for me!

This is more about the physical environment inside the restaurant. I have been here many time but as it turns out it had been only for hibachi until my last 3 times. My last few experiences were being seated at the front where you come in. All 3 times the exact same things happened to really turn me off. If was extremely cold and since we came later in the evening (about 1.5 hours until closing) they started cleaning very early. I certainly appreciate the attempt to clean, but the chemical smell each time was overwhelming and nauseating. I waited to put a review because of my previous good experiences at the hibachi. I will never come back closer to end of business again or be seated inside of it is not hibachi. You can expect people to be smelling chemicals while trying o have a nice night out. The 3rd time was the charm and I realized that this is just their process. I was sick each time. A business with customer service must have a model that does not include cleaning with chemical next to people who are trying to eat.
