Shamrock offers delicious donuts and other breakfast items. Up until today, I would have given 5 stars easily. I've been a loyal customer at this shop since I moved to the area in October. A week ago, I placed (and prepaid) a Mothers Day order that included 2 cheese danishes/gooey butter pastries. I mentioned at the time of placing the order that I would be there to pick up at 10AM on Mothers Day. I receive a call at 9:45AM on Mothers Day to let me know the gooey butter pastries are taking longer than usual to proof and asked if I can pick up at 10:30AM. I rearranged some things to come at a later time...no problem. Well except when I arrive at 10:30AM and my husband walks out with part of our order and no gooey butter pastries. It turns out their machine broke and they couldn't get the pastries to proof. This would have been nice to know when they called earlier. It would have been nice if they were able to do something other than refund me the cost of the gooey butter pastries and throw in some sandwiches that were about to be thrown out. This order was a Mothers Day gift that was ruined. I had to buy a last minute Cheese Danish from good 'ole Schnucks which doesn't even compare. I've been a loyal customer until today. I so badly want to continue going and place orders in the future but I can't trust them unfortunately.

The guy that I ordered from on Wednesday morning was exceptionally friendly. I ordered a cinnamon roll, and he provided me with an extra apple fritter. He was really nice. Very good experience here, while also being fairly cheap. I will be back again soon!

My boyfriend and I have both decided this is our favorite donut shop, no other donut shops even come close to how good shamrocks donuts are! We always get a variety and every single one of the are amazing! The staff is also super friendly and helpful everytime we come and it’s always the same wonderful smiley lady helping us, I’m pretty sure her name is Cheri!
