Good homestyle Mexican food restaurant. Friendly and attentive service. Roomy, colorful dining room with cozy colorful booths. Reasonable prices. Great place to hang out with friends or family.

Waited for one hour for our food and when it arrived it wasn't good . We've eaten there before and it's changed, it wasn't even crowded .. horrible . Spent $156 on bad food we had to wait too long for . Not going back- ever

Ordered a taco salad and it was awful. No lettuce, half slice tomato, about a tablespoon of meat, but a whole lot of refried beans. The service was slow. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

After waiter telling us kids eat free on Sunday nights, they charged us for our children's meals. When requesting an adjustment to the bill, manager refused to correct. Really really bad customer service. Zero stars. Jose - please get your story atraight.

This is the second time the owner at the Columbia location has been a total a**. The salmon was like leather. My friend took one bite of it. When the waiter came by to take her plate that had one bite of salmon taken, she told him the salmon was like leather. He apologized and said the cook was new. She asked to have it taken off the bill and he said she would have to talk to the owner. The owner said, the waiter said you had eaten some of the meal. She said, yes I did take a bite and it was like leather and I told him that when he came for the plate. The owner was raising his voice and asking her over and over, Who is lying? You or the waiter? He said you took a bite. My friend said, no one is lying. I took a bite of it and then the next time the waiter came to the table, I told him the salmon was like leather. The owner was so rude and a total a**. We gave you another chance after you acting like that once. You treated us like crap again. There are too many Mexican places in Como. We won’t be back.

Parking: Plenty of parking at the building and more parking next to the building.

I am severely allergic to cilantro so I have to be very careful with where I eat Mexican food. The staff at Jose Jalapeños were phenomenal. They had knowledge of all the ingredients in their food and made sure that mine was not in contact with cilantro and cilantro free. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was very attentive. The food was spot on and delicious. The best we’ve had in the area (that I can eat!!). We will definitely be back!

This wasn’t a good experience. The food was mediocre. Sauces all tasted canned, the shredded chicken was weird. Quesadilla cheese wasn’t melted through, everything needed salt. Wait staff wasn’t good. Pretty limited in Ashland but this place isn’t very good.
