This Cracker Barrel is 2 miles from our house.

I had the hamburger steak smothered and it was great.

Wifey had the ham steak, also very tasty.

Update: w April 25

ham steak is no longer on the menu, wifey is very sad.

Good news, country fried steaks were very good.

The service was great, especially when compared to other Cracker Barrels. The food was hot and delicious and the restaurant and it's restrooms were clean.

Most of our food was overcooked. The biscuits were thin and HARD. gravy didn’t soften them. Server brought two more biscuits, a little more fluffy, but hard bottoms. Bacon was fried to a crisp and hashbrown casserole was overcooked. We never have good food at this restaurant. Did not see manager. Server was great and and cashier was sooo nice!

Food was disappointing. Chicken and dumplings had three noodle pieces and no chicken. My salad was made up of mostly iceberg lettuce cores, old and bitter. Portions were much smaller than previously received.
