We were here a while back and our food was delicious. I guess I forgot to leave a review then. Last night we were passing through Belton and my wife said we should stop at the small grocery store and eat dinner there. Again, our meals were delicious, we were greeted with smiles and friendly people.
They were helpful by explaining the menu items and taking our order. We chose a table and our food was brought to us hot and delicious. We will be back soon.
We enjoyed the atmosphere of eating in a small grocery store. It is clean and inviting. The folks here work hard to please everyone.
You need to try this place! Come inside, eat a meal, and pick up a few things from the grocery store before heading home. Enjoy!

Authentic Taqueria, check. Good food at great prices, check. Honestly no reason to go to Chipotle when a burrito from here is twice as good as half the price. The hot sauce has some good kick to it so be careful if you are uninitiated. Overall I enjoy La Lupita. It isn't the best taqueria I've ever been to, but it is the best in this region that I've found so far.

My brother showed me this spot a while back, he used to work down the street… been there a couple times, and it always smacks… highly recommend the tacos, great quality and great price.

Now called “cinco de mayo” it was delicious! We had sopes, steak a la Mexicana, and several kinds of tacos! 100% real authentic food.
We also had their aguas frescas, and jarritos. Family of 7 for a reasonable price.

Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs, piñatas to buy, and many drinks options. We had 4 kids 7 and younger.

Definitely has the feeling of a "hole in the wall" but it's amazing. Nice people, authentic mexican food, in a market but they have tables to eat at as well and a wide selection of mexican sodas and other goods. Price is hard to beat as well. :)

Awesome carne asada tacos. It's like eating in you grandma's 1960's kitchen, but I mean that in a good way. They sell corn tortillas el Milagros, that when you first open it, your uhuh, but once you heat them on a flat iron or open flame are so so good. They were super busy when I was there, so it took a minute, but that only speaks to how good their food is.
