Well, just had a mixed burnt end and sausage plate w/fries. Burnt ends were okay. No real smoke, could use more seasoning. Sausage had good flavor, finer/dense grind. Sweeter bbq sauce, without a lot of depth. Helped the meat. Fries were flavorful but a bit greasy/limp
Was pleasantly surprised by the great food. Service was efficient and quick. Dining Room retains a 1960 highway cafe feel. While not inexpensive, we received a lot of food for the money. It’s a great place to dine in Cass County / South KC.

I've been eating here since 1967. The quality was lacking in 2018. We have been 4 times in the last couple of months and man have they turned it around. I always get beef brownies, but the wife gets the special each time. Today was the Philly cheese steak and it was terrific. She said the best sandwich ever. Bravo, keep it up guys. The service was top notch for a BBQ joint.
