Jaxel’s Cafe is a hidden gem! The carne asada was cooked perfectly, and the fresh-made salsa had a great spicy kick. The guacamole was spot on, and the chips were freshly fried and crispy. The flan was rich and delicious. Unassuming outside, but the food inside is seriously next level!

Omg!! The worst supposed to be Mexican food the chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it and to top it off it was half chicken breast with the bones in it and tasteless. I should have known better when there were no cars on the lot. No worries El Maguey you've definitely got them beat hands down!!!! I wouldn't recommend Zaxels to anyone

Every time I come to St. Louis, I stay at the Travelodge across the Street from Jaxel's. Every time I've ordered it's always very tasty food. Quick service and authentic. If you want good Mexican food I would recommend this place highly. Cheers!

❌??Do not eat here! They was not concerned about not having hand soap in the bathroom. I mentioned it to the lady that work the front, "that there wasn't any soap in the bathroom". She said that they wash there hands behind the counter smh. So they walk with their messy hands all the way from the bathroom to upfront. She did even offer me any soap. She was basically like oh well! So I walked out. Never again will I go there. That was my second time, and I was skeptical about going back this time because the food wasn't that great and portions were small to. But it was close and wanted to try them again. ???❌❌❌
