I had never heard of this restaurant before was just looking for a soul food place for lunch. Outside was sketchy, as there were no cars when we pulled up and we werenāt it was open. Well needless to say they were open and people eventually starting coming in. The owner was so nice and showed great hospitality! He bagged up or food for us after we finished dining and made sure we comfortable during our dine. It a little like eating at a relatives house the way we talked and laughed. The food was good too. I got the smothered pork chop, Mac, dressing, and candied yams. Mac was different but still good. I believe this is truly my first time having ācandied yamsā, because those indeed were sweet as candy (yes I know thatās not exactly why theyāre called candied yams lol). My partner loved them. The dressing was amazing! The smothered pork chop was ok, tough for my liking but the taste was delicious.! Didnāt even know it came with cornbread that was a plus! Food looked amazing too! I was SOOOOOO disappointed in the taste of the food. I've NEVER had sweet macaroni and cheese before and it was horrible. The weird seasoning they use overwhelmed everything I had. The only thing that was good was the sweet potatoes. A wasted 50$.

I ordered through Door Dash. I asked for meatloaf but they sent me a leg and thigh. I don't eat that part of chicken. When I spoke to the Manager, he was loud, rude, and unprofessional. The food is below average and the attitude of the Manager is horrible. Everytime

Although the atmosphere is nice the food is truly horrible. I only got sides because Iām vegetarian so they gave me a scoop of each. Old Mac n cheese you could tell itās been sitting for hours, and very salty mash potatoes and dressing. The only thing good was the candied yams which they only gave me three pieces ofā¦. First and last time.

First time going I got baked chicken Mac and cheese garlic mash, yams and string beans, so the good Mac and cheese and yams and garlic mash was great enjoy it even got a extra Mac and cheese after tasting now the neg the bake chicken was not tender I don't know if it was the chicken they use are the cooking process because I I know from the good side they can cook,and the green beans had no love straight out the can and tasted like it , and they are not budget friendly at all so everything should be good at all times, I will try one more time to see if maybe it was a bad time cause it was late in the evening and half menu was sold out, I try everything twice to make sure I spent 75.00 and got one bake chicken entree and two extra sides and no cornbread was included soul food should always come with some cornbread
They catered to my job. Extremely friendly and professional; unfortunately, the food was incredibly salty. They are not serving dressing. It's literally STOVE TOP STUFFING. After they left the job site, everyone agreed the food was loaded with sodium and taste like all packaged and frozen food. I cannot recommend this establishment.
