Loved this lil place. The food was good,home cooking,homemade bread . We were going back to the old homeplace cemetery in leonard,mo. Was with my 2 female cousins we are all 65+. My cousin told of a place with an albino deer mount ...inside family joke. We accidently ended up at the bethel restaurant and lo and behold there was the albino deer !!! Lol. The food was excellent and hopefully we will get to stop in again soon and stay longer and take in more local color.
Great fresh delicious breakfast with home made bread toast and real apple butter. Had a late lunch and the massive burger was superb. And don't forget the waitresses, excellent service.
A real Southern Hospitality kinda town.
I happened to be present during one of their annual festivals.
