Stopped by after staying the night for the MO state fair, the food was great and they were very patient with my 3 year old and offered her some coloring stuff after seeing she was restless. Food was quick, tasted good and had good portion sizes! If we ever find our way back here we will stop by 🙂

Stopped in for lunch on our way to St Louis. Charming little town. Restaurant is welcoming. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We had fried okra for an appetizer- OMG- just like my mom used to make. I had the BLT and there was so MUCH bacon!! My husband had the grilled cheese brisket sandwich.

What a great place in the small town of blackwater mo. So glad we ate there. The owner Christina is absolutely fantastic . Would love to go again when in the area. Be sure to check out the signs in the bathroom.

Stopped in for lunch. Mostly average but the exception was the Grilled Cheese Brisket. It was very good. Chicken strips were good but small. The prices were decent. Definitely a locals only feel. Understandable in a small town but got that vibe for sure. Just stating. We stayed close by so it was convenient. Would've liked to have tried breakfast. I'd almost bet it's better. If passing thru it's serviceable.

Christina's place is the perfect stop between stl and kansas! The best chicken strips, amazing burgers, the tots and fries are amazing. I've never come in a place with average expectations that were blown out of the water. Great service too! The the mother and daughter cook together, they even came to check on us! Amazing little stop, please check it out.
