My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner after hiking at Canaan Conservation Area. It was busy but not crowded by any means. The service was very friendly and attentive and our food was served within a very reasonable time. It was obviously cooked to order and was fresh and hot. My wife ordered the steak tips with mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the honey mustard chicken breast with a broccoli/cauliflower salad (the day's special) and sweet potato fries....
This restaurant is really nice, the servers were great, the food was delicious, and I will definitely go back, and try the home aid pies. It's a small town, but they give you plenty to eat.
Nice down home cooking in a small town. All the food we ordered was very good, philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries & country fried steak with macaroni salad & mashed potatoes with brown gravy. The desserts, pumpkin pie & lemon crumb cheesecake were so good!
