First time here. We had fried mushrooms for an appetizer, then we had a regular Gibson burger with curly fries, and a double Gibson burger with regular fries. Absolutely delicious!! My wife and I couldn't even eat 1/2 of our meals, they were huge! The service was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely make this trip again from Perryville (about 40 miles, one way)!

So to start out food prices are a good value but..... Arrived at 11:04 only 2 tables were occupied. We ordered 3 burgers and a blt and 12 wings as the special. We waited an hour for our food. Our wings were very small and seemed to be prebreaded wings just drizzled in sauce not tossed. They were presented in a paper tray. We asked for plates and were brought 2 for 4 people. Our food came out and the beacon burger was good. I suggest it. But all of our fries were cold. My wife's BLT was good as well. All the food is à la carte. You do get a $1 discount for fries with a meal but being cold not sure it's worth it. The service was honestly unwelcoming and if I had to say just felt untrained in food/customer service. We will come back to try breakfast but no time soon to be honest.

The Beacon bar and grill was long time hangout for locals until it burned down a few years ago. It has now been rebuilt and slightly expanded and is still called the Beacon. The bar area appears almost exactly like the original Beacon so those who remember it may be happy to see the bar and pool table still in the same arrangement. The expanded area is new and has a small stage for live entertainment from time to time. Food is good and reasonably priced.

Great breakfast spot! They hosted our large group for breakfast in the side room without any notice. Food was good, very reasonably priced, good service. The owner came out to check on the group, which was a very nice touch.
