This is a great place to meet for brunch if you aren't in a hurry. The food is delicious, but the wait can be a little long.

Three times in a row now our experience has been pretty bad. The kitchen is easily overwhelmed, even in the morning when it's just the Kozy open. They will stop food orders for 30+ min for kitchen to catch up. This would be a good time for the waitresses to service their tables, half of them will not.
Had dinner there tonight, wait was slow as usual. Had the worst chicken strips I've ever tasted, bland/tough and no seasoning. Brussel sprouts tasted like they were frozen and reheated. Finished our dinner and stacked all our plates away from us, watched our waitress look at our finished dishes three times and choose to stay behind the counter (no check up after another waitress delivered our food, no refills, and no bill). We had to go to the counter to ask someone for a refill. Then had to go back to the counter to ask for bill after waitress ignored our table for half an hour (only a third of the tables were filled, so not busy). This has happened on multiple occasions.
Ambiance is always good, but slow and subpar service is not worth returning.

Came here for breakfast with my friend. We both got skillets, I got the Southwest skillet and my friend got the slinger, we both thought that were pretty okay. Nothing special. The mimosa flight was good, again nothing special. We split a pancake and it was pretty dry but not the worst pancake I’ve ever had. Overall we agreed that while we liked the food, it was nothing to write home about and we likely wouldn’t return.
I fell instantly in love with with this restaurant. The menu is a really great collection of high quality comfort food. The coffee drinks are great. We were staying in some cabins nearby and didn't feel like cooking breakfast at our cabin so we drove here (about 10 miles). So worth it.
this was a 3rd time here...we had eaten before with family (large group) and on our anniversay...loved it the first 2 times...food was excellent...service good...the atmosphere very nice...clean and friendly...so when hubby suggest just us 2 go for breakfast...sure!...the restaurant was pretty empty...nice!...quiet just us 2....waitress came over...we asked for coffee with half n half...she got the coffee no half n half...hubby reminded her...she took off..we thought to get the half n half...nope...man woman came in with 2 kids...she went to take their drink orders...she was getting their coffee (fancy)...the kids drinks...now shes taking their order...now our coffee is cold..not room temp...cold...now shes getting their food!...we are still waiting...finally when she does come to our table and asks what she can get us...how bout hot coffee...she seemed surprised...no.. oh im so sorry...and again hubby had to remind her bout the cream...and she had to explain that she would have to go into the kitchen to get that...why are you telling us what you need to do?...when she finally took our food order and brought that (that could be a separate review)...hubby looked at his plate..."i ordered bacon not sausage"...she muttered are you sure?...hubby has patience...great patience...she blamed it on the cook that the cook gave her the wrong plate...that since the plate had touched the table hubby could just keep the sausage and she would bring hot fresh bacon...why are you telling us that?...we dont need explanations just make it right...finally we get our food...food was good...coffee...so so...we are eating...then i see a man...the man has a canister with a spray attached...he is walking around spray under the tables...along the floor...along the every corner...nook...cranny...he skips our table...we know what your doing...then he goes into the kitchen...bad enough you are spraying while there are customers eating...but you went into the kitchen...where food is being prepared...i asked the waitress why the man was spraying...thats a whole nother review...we knew why he was spraying...thats it...the service that morning was bad enough...but then when that man started to spray for cockroaches while we were eating..."yes i think i will have a side of food with my cold coffee and how bout some bug spray on the side"...too bad...we thought we had found a really nice place to get a meal...one last comment...we knew the waitress knew she had screwed up...she not only kept calling us honey...sugar...pouring on the syrup and maybe we wont notice anything wrong...but then she talked to us like we were children and needed to be reminded to drink water because it's hot...we are adults not children...we are retired adults with life experience...yeah thats right honey...just keep pouring on the phony concerned and care...you just have a nice day sugar........we wont be back...thumbs down
I could not say enough about how great their breakfasts are
Best chicken fried steak in the area. Staff very attentive and friendly, wonderful atmosphere. Very friendly and enjoyable place to eat with friends and family.
We are visiting from out of town so stopped in for lunch. The food we had was fantastic! Michelle B was our server and she took extra good care of us. Love the atmosphere, food, and everything about it. Thanks Michelle!

Had a great time, Michelle B. was our waitress she was so helpful and friendly we couldn't have asked for a better one. Hope to go back, food was good and everyone was so friendly
Absolutely love this place and today our server, Michelle B, went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. The food is delicious, I highly recommend the stuffed French toast. It is my all time favorite breakfast. Peace, love, Kozy ✌🏼
Great atmosphere
Took my son here on a whim, we are from St. Charles, MO. We LOVED it! My son said “Mom, if I could give this place ten stars, I would.” Haha and I agree. Madyson M was a total delight, food was phenomenal! 😌
Good food. Decent prices. Friendly staff. Vegetarian options are available. Delicious pizza with many choices for toppings. It's not greasy, and the crust is crisp. The pretzels were a great start to our lunch. Buttery, light salt, cheese, or honey mustard for dipping. It's worth a stop.
