Small country diner feel and atmosphere. Coffee bar and homemade pastries were great. Place order at counter and have a seat, staff and food were great

The menu was a relief for breakfast because they offer turkey sausage patties and oatmeal. Despite to my list of food sensitivities I was able to find a couple of breakfast items that tasted pretty good as well! The late was great as well, with 4 sugar free syrup options to choose from as well as almond and oat milk. The hot sugar free vanilla late made with oat milk was pretty good as well as clean tables to choose from! You pick your table and bring your order number for the server to find. Friendly and helpful employee at the counter who took our order as well as the server who brought us our food!

What an awesome, unexpected experience. We happened to stumble across this café while getting Pizza the night before. When we came in we were a bit nervous because of the loud atmosphere and amount of people. (We waited until 10am to get coffee and breakfast). However, we were pleasantly surprised at the service and quick turn around. A man directed us to the counter and we ordered. Within 10 minutes we had food and coffee delivered to our table. Each interaction with every staff member exceed expectations. In an industry where customer service seems to not be a priority anymore, this company (and its staff) have brought back that not all resturants operate with their egos. They've definitely made life time customers here, so much so that I made my husband promise we will will be doing this at least monthly. 💗

Bean Counter Cafe ( in Blue Springs, MO) continues to be my husband's and my favorite place to eat breakfast! The orange cinnamon rolls are the best, but truthfully ANY breakfast menu item combined with the variety of pastries makes for a great breakfast no matter what you get! Their house-made Chicken Salad Sandwich for lunch is the best I have ever had! The owner, Sara, really cares for her customers and providing the best ingredients and recipes makes Bean Counter a place I definitely come back to every week!!

Ham Florentine with spinach and spaghetti noodles... Sounded odd but it was so delicious. The egg was soft and fluffy and the noodles added texture and structure to the dish. It will be hard to order something else when I return. I also indulged in a cheese danish and I was not disappointed. So full, but very satisfied. The filling was creamy and perfect. Topped my over indulgence with a tasty drip coffee and a mango/passion fruit refresher both of which had excellent flavor. The staff was great. The only negative is the noise level. Can't have a decent conversation on a busy day. Need some sound absorbing material in there.

Legitimately one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to shops in many states, with mixed atmospheres, price points and clientele.
Despite them being packed, we got our food quicker than expected, and it was fresh and delicious. The coffee was also great, and the prices weren’t much more than typical. I highly recommend the biscuit sliders, and the half order was plenty for breakfast.
If you’re anywhere in the KC area, even out to KCK, come take a day trip out to this place for breakfast or lunch.

Cute little cafe in a nice part of town. I had the avocado toast, which was simple but fresh and tasty. The coffee was good and the service was great. We’ll definitely be back the next time we come through town!

Bean Counter Café is an absolute gem! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Their pastries are hands-down the best I’ve ever had—each bite is pure perfection. The staff and owner are incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere every time I visit. My personal favorites are the ham and Jarlsberg quiche, which is rich and savory, and the Bavarian chocolate croissant, which is flaky, decadent, and absolutely unforgettable. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or just a sweet treat, Bean Counter Café never disappoints!

Fantastic breakfast stop on our way back to Cincinnati! We got to meet the owner, Sara, and her amazing staff. Fantastic food, coffee and atmosphere!
Been coming to Bean Counter since she was located in a bank, then a nursery and now downtown. Great food, great people!! Love it. Keep up the wonderfulness!
