My friend and I went to go eat there today and they were out of a couple of meats and a few other items which is understandable given how many customers were there. My friend and I both ordered the same thing except I got guac which was a 2 dollar and something up charge. For a double meat bowl with queso and a drink, my friend paid 16 dollars. For the exact same thing with guac, they charged me 25 dollars. This was bad enough but it was made worse with the terrible customer service we (and every other customer in line) recieved.
Afterwards we went to grab a fountain drink. All of them tasted bad. The tester aunt doesn’t clean their nozzles properly and they don’t keep their drinks filled. The utensils weren’t even put away properly, they left the box out and opened it for anyone to grab out of. The trash was full and the counters were extremely dirty with food and trash everywhere. After that we were disappointed to see that not a single table was clean. All of them had trash and food on them and the lobby was not taken care of. I do not recommend anyone to eat at this restersujt and I do not intend on coming back

It’s difficult to give a Chipotle a low score though it’s necessary in this case.
I’ve been to this location a handful of times and each time I’ve seen an unkempt dining room. This past weekend my family and I ate here. We wanted the barbocoa that has been advertised so much. Unfortunately, they were “just starting to cook more meat” and had no time frame for how long it would take, so I opted for chips and guacamole. I can confirm it’s real, fresh avocado because the skin was incorporated!! My brother also had avocado skin in his bowl, and though the skin isn’t toxic, it’s tough and hard to swallow ( that’s how he figured out it was skin and not a veggie). This is a location I DONT recommend and will not eat at again.

absolutely terrible. i just went and there was no cheese, they were out of other items as well, the rice was extremely salty? not to mention, the trash was piled up onto the wall. the drink station was also absolutely trashed. trash all over the counter, the lemonade and other drinks were empty, etc. i will not be returning back to this chipotle. i’d rather drive to 7 hwy or independence at this rate. i usually love chipotle but this honestly ruined it for me for a while. do better!

Do not eat here or order to go. They will mess up the order every time and refuse to refund you despite you being unable to eat the burrito with the completely wrong ingredients.

This is the worst Chipotle and an awful experience. There was a short line of people only about 3 customers when we arrived. No food was being prepared , all the containers of food were empty or old. When we asked for fajitas veggies they didn’t have any fresh made it looked like there was only a tablespoon of food . Employees we’re yelling at each other. The tables you sit at were all dirty, Being that there were only 3 customers and 8 employees they should have been working not yelling and standing around. What a horrible experience!

Staff had an attitude from hell. Telling me “well we were out so you didn’t get it” I paid for it and you said nothing half my order was missing. No veggies at all no corn no guacamole no queso. Told me they’re out of queso even tho I had one side of it they didn’t put the other queso in the bowl. This is ridiculous paid for extra rice didn’t get that and only gave me one guacamole and side of corn when I ordered 2 after going back in the store for it. As soon as I left staff turned around and started giggling I will not be back as this is the 5th time this has happened at different locations. Chipotle is a scam do not come here.

Rude! Placed an online order for 2 burritos and a kids meal. Picked it up and saw that I only had one burrito. I let the ladies know I was short a burrito and they looked at me and walked away. Next person I told said she didn't make the first burrito and walked away. Finally someone acknowledged me, I assume was the manager, and the burrito was made. I was made to feel like an inconvenience for simply asking for what I paid for. Horrible customer service.

Don’t go here! You have two people working the restaurant, one crying taking orders and only serving chicken! Then want to get an attitude after because only one person can do check out, while a whole line of people are in line. One of the workers had to go ask for help up front because they were too busy and they ignored her! Next time I’ll go to Taco Bell! Horrible customer service!

Fantastic location. I live in independence, and the location near 40 Highway 291 is the one I live by. However, I drive out of my way to Blue Springs because it is much better than the one in independence.
