East 40 is a community hub and a vibe. The patio is carefully curated with heaters and live music all the time. They have events all the time with live music or yoga or vendors. Dogs are allowed outside on the spacious and sunny patio. They even have soda and cocktails and wine and cider! Oh also skew ball and games.

A buddy found this place. Now we're both driving a ways to meet here. It has a really nice atmosphere, and good beer. One of the things I like is the music is okay and not so loud you can't have a conversation. It's easy to get to. There is on, and off street parking, and being on Main St you can walk around a little if you want.

Stopped in here for a flight of beer with a friend. Each beer was different and very good. There looks to be around a dozen different beers to try. Friendly people and good beer, you can’t go wrong. We did not try the food, but it did look good and a lot of people were eating. The place is right next to the train tracks and it was kind of fun to watch the train go by 50 feet away.

A Great place. I was there for the sixth anniversary. Had a German lager and saw "The Trace" play last night. Will be back again very soon. Thanks for the hospitality, came from 45 minutes away and wasn't disappointed.

Doesn’t seem like these guys are super into social media. Must be because they are too busy focusing on making badass beer. A stop here will not be a disappointment. We had the soft pretzel and beer cheese. They were a bit light on the beer cheese but it was a solid snack. The beers were all so good that it made for a hard decision which one to commit to. We all had a mix of the west coast IPA, the double IPA and the peach sour. All were fantastic. Well balanced with little or no off flavors. Highly recommend this place. Stay here and don’t go on to Iron Kettle like we did. Not a good call. Learn from our experiences, friends. ?
