My wife and I ordered two doughnuts for pickup, when I got to the car I noticed one of them was wrong. I went back inside and informed them what had happened and the older gentleman with a hat on profusely apologized and proceeded to get us a whole box full of doughnuts without me even asking for anything. He was very kind and I was very pleased with the whole experience! Excellent service, I will recommend them to anyone!

I have always enjoyed this place so much because their donuts obviously are very yummy. But one of the other reasons I have always loved this place is because their service has always been so old-school and fantastic. You feel like you are back in the 90s with good customer service and values. I went in today to get some donuts for an open house and the line was long of course on a Saturday. It was Lamarâs birthday so they were doing a special for an extra donut for $.25. Every employee, including the one I am going to mention ask the customer if they would like an extra donut for $.25. When it came for my turn to order my donuts, he never asked me so I assumed I didnât buy enough donuts to qualify for the special or something along those lines. he never asked me if I wanted one and then when I went to check out the older lady that was ringing me up ask him did you get her the $.25 donut and he said no people can read the sign. He thought I didnât hear him, but he clearly said it loud enough so that I could. I just think itâs super rude to ask every single customer before me and then when it comes to be my turn, you donât ask me. That just gave me the feeling that I didnât qualify for one so I wasnât going to try to ask for one. Bottom line usually the service here is so great and just makes you feel good but this guy is just a dick and does not hold the values That Lamar usually holds with their employees.

The donuts were great. Not too sweet, light and delicious. It was my first time at a Lamar's and had no idea what I wanted or if they had some special donut of the day or month. I didn't get time to look, before I could see the donuts I was asked what I wanted by the employee. Then while waiting to pay I actually had time to see all they had to offer and I definitely would have gotten more if I wasn't rushed.

This Lamars has really fallen off. They used to be by far the best donuts around, but now theyâre just by far the most expensive.. I always get the same Lamarâs bar. They have gotten significantly smaller recently but this is insane. The guy who helped me could not be less helpful. He was trying to talk to everyone but me. He went to the back to check if they had more white filled long Johnâs and he had put this in the bag without me seeing how small it was.
I get donut holes every time and usually there are at least a hand full extra, sometimes double what I get. This time it was exactly 6. I ordered half dozen so Iâm not upset, but itâs a sign that things have changed. As someone who has been going here since they opened this is very disappointing.
