Tried the new thick battered fish today and it was really good. This is the way the fish at Long John Silver's used to be. I can highly recommend trying it. Long John also has some of the best coleslaw out there. I don't think you'll be disappointed in this fish.

The food is always good.. but the service is questionable sometimes... I honestly wish that instead of opening new stores they would update the old ones first. The ceiling tiles are discussing.. the floors are nasty and greasy throughout the store.. the walls paint is chipping away.. if the stores could just get a little lovin in the Midwest the star waiting would go up for sure

Fish tasted awful, only got half our order and didn't notice until we got home. Service was very slow. Only thing that tasted good was the fries and onion rings.

What can you say? This building is almost as old as Blue Springs and it shows. It's a sticky, greasy mess. The service is hit and miss but let's be honest. There is crack in that breading and I want my chicken covered in it along with a big box of "crumbs" that i can eat until I'm ready to explode.
Almost every time we eat me here at Long John Silver's we get a variety platter. We love the fish and the chicken, my husband does like the shrimp. Fries are good here, Cole slaw is good here, we love the hush puppies here. If we eat it there it's always hot and ready to go. It doesn't make it home very well. But overall this is the last old original building in Blue Springs, I think! It's a old restaurant but it's a good restaurant.

Food was good, but the service made it to where I will not come back to this location again. Had to wait 30 min to get my food. The bell was rang 6 times while we waited and only 1 time did any of the employees say Thank you. The lady we think to be the manager (the lady with the crazy gray hair) was on the line without any hair covering (a hat or a hair net).

Cold in main lobby, but much, much warmer in side lobby where bathrooms are. Even had a beautiful Christmas tree up which made the room seem almost cozy. Employees were courteous and efficient.
