Typical poorly run establishment. Wonder why.. Smh

This is the second time I have ordered the greens and the greens have been extremely salty. The fish was not good. I'm pretty sure they need to change their grease, because the fish tasted old and it was dark in color. The fish also had very little meat inside, it was 95% just skin that tasted & felt like aliminum foil when I bit into it. The staff are very nice and some foods are good there, but there is a lot to be improved in order for the food items to be great. First re-train the person with the heavy hand who salts the food. Greens need very little salt, when you over-salt, you ruin the food. Change out grease regularly, and your peach cobler should not taste mushy, like the peaches & crust have been soaked in water. It was boarderline curry texture. This place used to be so good over a year ago, but it's been going down hill fast. I had stopped eating here for a year after I got salty greens, but decided to try again. Unfortunately, disappointing again. :-(

Fish,okra, and chicken were delicious. Wife says the hushpuppies were some of the best she has ever had, even threatening me if I were to eat the remaining ones. Will definitely return!

1st visit. The cook was confident about the food quality which intrigued me. The food was fabulous. It did not disappoint. I was surprised by the homemade tartar sauce. I didn't even use hot sauce at all. ? I will be back.

First time here and had zero expectations. I was not at all disappointed. I’m not much of a fish eater but I ordered wings and fish. Fish was good…Now I don’t profess to be a wing aficionado, but the wings here would have to be at the very top of my list. I had fried wings and I’ll be back for more very soon to try the smoked.

Pulled up at 11:35am as the website states and the front door states they would be open. No one was there and the restaurant was closed. Called at 3:50 to see if anyone was there and I was told they were open. Pulled BACK up at 4:05 and the business has its open sign on with a “back in 10 minutes” sticky note on the front door. What a way to run a business!! I left.
