Drove half an hour to pick up dinner and place had closed at 3pm. WTH????

So, at one time, this place was as good as most overpriced bbq is but tonight took the cake. After sitting in line over 30 minutes, you can see below the joke I received for 20.09. Pay for a “jumbo” that’s really smaller than regular and then top it off (pun intended) with a teaspoon of slaw. So I figure I’m home. Oh well. Deal with it, right? Oh but then, the crème de la crème, a 12” hair laced through my sandwich like Christmas lights. Luckily it was not the short and curly variety, but none the last I didn’t want it or ask for it. Oh yeah and pulling it from my teeth made the whole experience all the more memorable!!!So, in conclusion, last visit for this boy. I will let them keep their tablespoon of slaw, cup of “jumbo” pork and, well, hair.Oh, the fries did rock, but I did sit in line at 1913, on a Saturday night, for 8 minutes, to get fresh fries, with no hair. Awesome job plowboys, awesome hairless fries.

Excellent BBQ, even better service!! The flavors were perfect, the sauces were delicious and every person that helped us was so incredibly kind and welcoming!

By far the worst BBQ I've had in years. Burnt end sandwich is chunks of roast, half fat, and tough as nails. WAY over-priced. Wouldn't go back if it was free.

Had Plowboys delivered while I was working in Blue Springs. Delicious and hearty portions of burnt end and fries!

The staff here were very kind and personable. The BBQ is delicious, moist and tender. Service was quick and accurate. Even though we bought to-go orders, a look around the restaurant finds the place neat, orderly and clean. Nice atmosphere with a fair amount of awards and history displayed. Nice place!

It certainly wasn't the worst, but it just seemed like no special attention was made to give any of the dishes good flavor. The green beans tasted as though they came straight from the can. The cheese wasn't well incorporated into the "cheesy" corn. Next up, the pulled pork, while tender, lacked any kind of smokiness that I expect from pulled pork. Finally, the best part was the nacho fries, which were tasty after adding some jalapenos and pickled red onions from home. All around it was pretty disappointing for what should be restaurant-quality barbecue.

Stopped here while passing through on I-70, best BBQ sandwich I've ever had. Baked beans were also excellent. This is an order / pay and sit place so you can get in and out quickly.

Pretty Good BBQ. Probably the best BBQ in Blue Springs. I love it and the staff is super chill.

Got the brisket with Mac n cheese. The meat was great but I will not get the Mac n cheese again. Not their strong suit. The staff was kind and helped me out to the car with a large order.

I usually get the pulled chicken sandwich and fries. I have also ordered the Mac and cheese.. the taste is pretty good. But I will say it's quite pricy. A small size of Mac and cheese is $3 for that price I definitely thought the portion would have been more generous. The fries are decent, but the sandwich is where it's at. I just wish it wasn't $8 just for the sandwich.. considering it's no bigger than what you would get anywhere else and nothing else comes with it. You're easily looking at $15 for a meal since everything is al la carte. Overall I do keep coming back so ‍

BBQ south 7 highway blue springs. Has a large display of BBQ awards. State champion. It is spicy so be prepared. But very popular in Blue Springs. At corner of 7 highway and Moreland school road

AMAZEDII

Terrible food. Brisket was VERY tough. No flavor. No smoke. Cheesy potatoes was the only thing good. Sauce socks. Will never go back. Prices higher than shown on internet. Too expensive for tough meat.

This was my first experience with them. I looked on my phone for menu. Saw the barnyard choice not thinking about single serving. I had 3meats on tray. Cheesy potatoes and green beans and bread. Much better than I expected. Meats were tender and flavor able. Sauce made it a extra zing to the taste. Will be going back.

The evening I went to Plowboys they were out of French fries. I ordered something else with my meal and asked about deserts. They said they had cookies and brownies. I ordered a brownie. I paid for my meal and drove to the collection window. The girl who handed me my food told me they were out of brownies and cookies. The food was ok. Nothing to scream and shout about. I was disappointed.
