I rarely leave bad reviews, especially for small business. This feels warranted. I ordered a cake this week for my son's birthday. I paid via Venmo, $45 for the smallest cake. Seemed a little high, but I wanted something special and better than a grocery store. I came to pick it up today, she said it wasn't ready. I was an hour and a half late past the time we had agreed on. I waited about 25 minutes. She brought it out, it looked terrible. It looked like it was done in a big hurry. The icing was clumped on. She spelled my son's name wrong. I was shocked, I thought it would be much more pretty to look at. It was sloppy. I wasn't going to write a review, but now we just ate the cake. This was absolutely awful. The icing tasted badly, the cake part was the worst. It was very hard and dry. Like it had been sitting out for weeks. It was the worst cake I've ever had. I'm truly disappointed, for $45 I thought it would be better quality.

This is very upsetting. I wish I would of looked up the reviews before evening spending $300+ for my daughter. Or even if they would of said no they can't make the cake I was asking for. When they delivered the cake I knew it was all bad. It had hair on top of the cake. My daughter asked me not to say anything. Then they told me the cake was in the freezer all night so the cake was super dry and tasted like the freezer smh. Then the food coloring was so strong you can taste it and we'll as you can see the pictures below it just kept getting worst. Definitely would like a refund. I called Tuesday July 11th 2023 and was told the person that does refunds is out of town on a business trip and they don't know when the lady will be back. $300 that they won't refund me. I even delivered the unbeatable cake back to them. I wouldn't recommend this place even if it was the last place on earth. VERY DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTING

I ordered a partial naked cake with fresh berries for a 2nd birthday party and the cake was amazing. Way bigger than I thought it would be. So pretty and tasted amazing! The cake flavor itself was perfect, moist and just the right amount of frosting. Highly recommend

A month before May 12th, I ordered a birthday cake for the same weekend as graduation and Mothers Day. They didn’t hesitate and accepted my order. The cake was delicious and many asked where I got it!

My son was turning 13 and being pregnant, I am not in any mood to bake. I was looking for bakeries in my area and found the Cake Pan. It wasn't far so I figured why not. I sent an email inquiry telling the shop my needs ( Cookies and Cream cupcakes) and when I needed them. I got an almost immediate response on the details and how to pay. I went into the shop to pay and we talked about colors and details. When I picked up my cupcakes, I couldn't have been happier! They looked so cool! They might, when we celebrated, they were some of the most moist cupcakes I had ever tasted! This was even after being in the fridge for hours! It's been 2 days and they are still super soft and delicious! I will be ordering from here again for my next baking needs!

Ordered my sons 2nd birthday cake and 2 dozen cake pops. They had forgotten about my order and had to rush to get it done. I got the cake but no cake pops. Since I already paid for them they put the credit on my older sons cake pops and discounted his cake because of the issues with my first order. The cake pops ended up not being cake at all, they were just oreos dipped in chocolate which my kids still liked but not what I asked for. Communication could definitely improve with customers and within the business so no one else's orders get forgotten.

Our wedding was on October 1st. The cake was ready on time and was the most delicious cake we have had. It was very moist and flavorful. The decorations were elegant and beautiful. The cake definitely helped make our wedding the most special day we could have. Thank you!
This would have been a 5 star but you were out the gel food coloring I was needing. Other than that, I loved this store. Everything you need for beautiful cakes!

Used The Cake Pan for my wedding many years ago and was so pleased. I attended a wedding recently who also used The Cake Pan and I was interested to see the quality/taste since the ownership has changed. The cake was just as delicious. I will continue to recommend!

I came here because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately my experience was not as appetizing. The cupcakes were dry and the frosting was terrible. Buttercream my a*** It was my sons birthday and we were both VERY disappointed!

I took the Valentine's cookie decorating class with Vanessa. Hands down best cookies! I took my son and we had loads of fun decorating our cookies, but more so getting to eat them!? Vanessa is a great technique teacher and very knowledgeable. I love it so much I may do every class she has.
