This was my first time at Basil and Bourbon. I had "The Reuben" and beer fries, it was the best Reubon I've ever had. I will go again and try the meals my friends had, which looked equally good.
Best dining experience in Bolivar. I used to live in Portland, OR and Seattle, WA and with all of their touting of their restaurants in Seattle and Portland…none of them can hold a candle to Basil & Bourbon. Food is amazing…drinks are amazing…and service is second to none. Also, my compliments to the Chef. The thought she puts into her food is second to none. So awesome to have such a top shelf dining experience in Bolivar. Best dining experience in all of the Midwest...
No vegetarian options, luckily I also eat sea food. Shrimp tacos were good, but mushy, no crunch. The drinks were nice, but pricey. Set up as fairly formal dining, would be better as a drink lounge.
