We stopped for a late lunch on our way to Moberly, Mo. The place is huge, and I loved the rustic decor. There was only one other with customers, so the server looked and acted bored. I don't blame her. I had an excellent half rack of ribs. The sides of baked beans and Cole slaw were very good. My wife had the brisket melt and said she could do without the cheese. She love the sweet potato casserole. This is a very good barbecue joint.
We came in for the first time and the food was amazing! The manager brought out some extra shrimp because he said He thought the shrimp was a little too crispy, He also came out a bit after and talked with us.
Best place in Bolivar and we haven't even tried to ribs!

I really didn't want to leave a bad review here because I had high hopes for this place. The inside is really nice and upstairs was fun. Our bartender / server was really nice. But man the food was very disappointing at least my meal was. I ordered double brisket add pulled pork with coleslaw and french fries. French fries were good but unfortunately that was it. The double side of brisket was so dry and tasteless and I had to cover it and barbecue sauce just to eat some...
