If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to order food in hell’s waiting room — welcome, you’ve found the spot.

We waited 45 minutes for two waffles and a couple of bowls of “oatmeal and grits” that were clearly born and raised at Walmart before being nuked in the microwave like a science experiment. The waffles arrived cold, stiff, and emotionally damaged.

The “chefs”? Oh, you mean the waitresses who decided to cosplay as cooks — with no gloves, no hairnets, no shame — just raw finger action. One of them even licked her finger mid-prep and kept right on going. Michelin would be proud — if this was a horror film.

The coffee was decent… for the first and only time they brought it. Then it vanished like the dignity of this place.

If bacteria had a favorite restaurant, this would be it. I’ve had cleaner meals from street vendors next to goats.

Honestly, the health department should treat this place like a biohazard zone.
Save yourself the trauma — burn your money instead, it’ll be a better experience

Waffles were cold, took 40 minutes after ordering to get them. Was there for over an hour and they only refilled our coffee one time.

Could also see in the kitchen from our table and the cooks were not wearing any gloves or hair nets. Also can see them putting plates in the microwave.

Very quaint spot. Got breakfast, a loaded Burrito with a side of biscuit and gravy , no complaints. Couldn't finish the serving.
Wait staff was on point 👌
Will definitely be back to try lunch!

We came into town for a camping/fishing trip and decided to stop in for breakfast. We live in Kansas city and there is no way we could ever eat an amazing breakfast with this good of service for what we did. I will forever recommend this cafe!

Atmosphere itself is great. But service after the first question of food and drink was atrociously long. Waited roughly 45-50 minutes for food which never came. Had to almost put my coffee cup in the air and swing it to get a coffee refill.
After 25-30 minutes, we asked kindly about our food since we saw 1 group order, eat and leave. Waitress said she'll check on it. Never came back to us.

Will never come back myself after seeing multiple groups of people order, eat and leave. For us, was a horrible experience.

Waited 45 minutes for our food, mashed potatoes were microwaved yet served cold??? The chicken fried steak was comparable to lunch food, possibly worse. Anyone who says this place is good would be satisfied eating a cigarette butt. And none of the tables were cleaned when we walked in.
